# Canadian Community Lender Directory

> Browse the LoanOrigination.ca directory of Community Futures organizations, credit unions, and Indigenous Financial Institutions serving borrowers across Canada.

The LoanOrigination.ca directory is a public listing of community-focused lenders operating across Canada. It maps 267 Community Futures organizations, more than 400 credit unions, and more than 50 Indigenous Financial Institutions, giving borrowers and referral partners a single place to find the right funding source by region, lender type, and program focus.

## What the directory contains

## Who uses the directory

The directory is used by three primary audiences:

* **Borrowers and entrepreneurs** searching for a lender that matches their region, sector, and funding needs.
* **Referral partners** including banks, municipalities, incubators, and accountants that need to route clients to the right community lender.
* **Lenders** who want visibility to prospective borrowers and referral partners across Canada.

## Structured lender profiles

Each directory listing provides consistent, structured information so borrowers can compare lenders side by side:
